TOUR: Trip to the source of the river Drôme (France, departments Drôme, les Hautes-Alpes)

A tour, covering about 70 kilometres and 1550 metres of altitude difference. We cycle to the source of the river Drôme, which gives its name to the Drôme department in the French Pre-Alps.

To reach the source, we have to cross three passes and make a detour into the Hautes-Alpes department.

We already know the Col de Prémol from the Valdrôme Tour, but both the Col des Tourettes and the Col de Carabès offer a rather underrated road cycling area with low traffic density and a partly southern Provençal flair.
