Col de Pennes - Climb it twice! (Vercors, Drome department)
As of December 2022, the Incyclist app supports the selection of individual track segments.
This video is my first production providing track segments: the route can be cycled as a whole or just select one of both climbs with or without the respective descents.
A nice pass in the French Diois region. We climb the Col twice: we first take the northeastern approach from Recoubeau via Jansac (10 km, approx. 5%)
and cycle down to the Roanne Valley via the steep southwestern descent (approx. 9%).
Then we climb the pass from the southwestern side taking the winding road along rocky walls above a deeply incised valley offering spectacular views on beautiful mountainous
surroundings.
We then go down again on the north side via Barnave.
